Order Details: COPY OF ORDER Pdf Text: 18 Ct. Cases / 713/2025 Amrit Bhushan Chawla Vs. STATE 14.10.2025 Proceedings are being conducted through hybrid mode. Present: Mr. Hiralal, Ld. Proxy Counsel for complainant. Inspector Ichha Ram in person. In terms of previous order dated 05.08.2025, a report has been filed indicating that an offence under Section 217 BNS is prima facie made out. The report is taken on record. Copy supplied. During the course of submissions, it is pointed out that the offence under Section 217 BNS is cognizable only upon a complaint by the concerned public servant, which is presently not on record. In such circumstances, it is submitted that cognizance at this stage cannot be taken. At this stage, Inspector Ichha Ram submits that a DD entry is likely to be registered shortly in this matter. In view of the circumstances appearing on record, and as the stand of the investigating agency can be clarified by the next date, further time is sought. Heard. In the interest of justice, the request is allowed. The request for passover made by Ld. Counsel for the applicant cannot be entertained due to the heavy board. Put up for consideration of the matter / further proceedings on 09.02.2026. The order be uploaded as per rules.
