Present : Sh. Saifi Ahmad , Ld. Counsel for the complainant
through VC.
Ms. Ankita, Ld. proxy Counsel for the accused Iqbal
through VC.
Mediation order received back unsettled with the report that
the none appeared on behalf of accused. It was clarified on LDOH that
the defaulting party shall be burdened with heavy cost.
Accordingly accused is burdened with cost of Rs. 3000/-
payable to the complainant.
Ld. proxy counsel for the accused submits that the out of
court settlement talks are underway between the parties and last and final
opportunity may be granted for the appearance of the accused in person
on NDOH.
Ld. counsel for the complainant submits that there are no
settlement talks are undergoing between the parties and the said
submission has been made to further delay the matter. He further submits
that the copy of complaint along-with annexures has already been
supplied.
It is further clarified that if accused fails to appear in person
on NDOH coercive measures shall be adopted to ensure his appearance.
Re-list the matter for 18.09.2026.
