Arguments on the point of charge heard.
On the basis of the record and submissions, a prima facie
case is made out against the accused for having dishonestly received or
retained a mobile phone, knowing or having reason to believe it to be
stolen property.
Accordingly, charge under Section 411 IPC is framed. The
same is read over and explained to the accused in vernacular. On being
questioned, he pleads not guilty and claims trial.
At this stage, admission/denial of documents conducted in
terms of Section 294 CrPC / Section 330 BNSS. In view of the statement
of the accused, the witnesses at serial nos. 2 and 3 and the Duty Officer
stand dropped from the list of witnesses.
Let summons be issued to witnesses at serial nos. 1 and 4
for the next date of hearing.
Put up for prosecution evidence on 02.09.2026.
