Matter is listed for execution of order on sentence. NBWs issued against the convict received back unexecuted. Report perused. However, convict has appeared through VC. At this stage, it is submitted by counsel for convict that appeal bearing No. 551/2026 has been filed against the judgment and order on sentence passed by this court and same is pending adjudication. It is further submitted that the next date of said appeal is 14.12.2026 and sentence has been suspended till pendency of the appeal vide order dated 06.10.2026. Copy of the said order has also been filed. As per the said order, 60 days time has been granted to deposit the 20% of compensation amount. Further, convict has also been directed to furnish personal bond along with one surety in the sum of Rs 30,000/- within 14 days. Time has been sought to furnish bail bonds. It is prayed that NBWs issued against the convict be also cancelled. At oral request, NBWs issued against the convict are stayed till the NDOH subject to cost of Rs 2000/- to be deposited with DLSA Central. Receipt of the cost be filed by the NDOH. Be put up for filing of receipt/further proceedings on 23.10.2026. Convict is directed to appear in person along with bail bonds on the NDOH, failing which, further coercive steps shall be taken against him.
