The appellant is present. Mr. Lalit Kumar, Ld. Counsel for the respondent. The respondent is present. An application has been moved by the respondent, seeking revalidation of the demand draft bearing no. 726169 drawn on Punjab National Bank dated 17.01.2025 for a sum of Rs. 43,000/- (Rupees Forty Three Thousand only). It is submitted by Ld. Counsel for the respondent that the said demand draft was released in favour of the respondent, pursuant to order dated 19.11.2025 of this Court. Further, it is submitted by Ld. Counsel that upon the presentation of the said demand draft it was brought to the attention of the respondent that the validity period of the said demand draft had already lapsed. Accordingly, Ld. Counsel for the respondent has prayed that the appellant be directed to get the said demand draft revalidated. Heard. Records perused. Notice of the said application has been issued to Ld. Counsel for the appellant along with a copy of the said application. Upon perusal of the same and on instruction of the appellant, Ld. Counsel for the appellant has submitted that the appellant would have the said demand draft renewed/revalidated within a period of seven days from today. Let the same be done, as prayed for. Accordingly, in view of the aforesaid submissions, the present application is disposed off with the directions to the Contd..2/- -- 1 of 2 -- ..2.. appellant to facilitate renewal/revalidation of the demand draft bearing no. 726169 drawn on Punjab National Bank dated 17.01.2025 for a sum of Rs. 43,000/- (Rupees Forty Three Thousand only) within a period of seven days from today. Ld. Counsel for the appellant has requested for a short accommodation to address arguments. In the interest of justice and as prayed for, list for arguments on 11.03.2026.
