Counsel for plaintiff seeks time to move appropriate application to make certain amendments in the suit. It is clarified that although the presence of the learned counsel for the defendant as well as the defendant herself has been marked in the present matter, the same is only on account of their appearance in a connected matter between the same parties, namely CS DJ No. 686/24 titled Prakash Kaur Vs. Avtar Singh, in which they appeared as the plaintiff. However, it is made clear that the present matter is still at the stage of preliminary consideration and has not yet been formally taken up for issuance of notice or summons. Accordingly, the appearance of the defendant and her counsel today shall not be construed as formal service of summons or notice in the present proceedings. The matter shall be taken up for the limited purpose of consideration on the next date of hearing, and appropriate orders regarding issuance of notice or summons, if required, shall be passed thereafter.
