Application seeking regular bail on behalf of
application Fareed Khan.
1. Ld. counsel for the accused/applicant has argued that the
alleged recovery has been planted upon the accused. Accused is
in judicial custody since 04.06.2025. Investigation qua accused
is complete. Accused is a young boy who is pursuing his studies
and has been falsely implicated in the present case. Co-accused is
already on bail.
2. On the other hand, Ld. Addl. PP for the State submits that
that allegations are serious in nature. No ground is made out to
enlarge the present application on bail.
3. I have heard Ld. Counsel for the accused/applicant, Ld.
Addl. PP for the State and perused the record.
4. The brief facts of the case are that on 04.06.2025 a
complaint was received in the police station made by Pradeep
Ram who stated that he is a resident of Shree Niwas Puri and is
driving a motor cycle in Rapido company. On 02.06.2025 at

around 1:00 am. He had taken a booking for dropping out a
passenger at Gandhi Vihar at around 2:00 am when he reached
Yograj Colony suddenly the passenger took out a katta, placed it
on his back and asked him to stop the motor cycle. On stopping
he put the katta on his head and asked him to give money. He
handed over his mobile phone and Rupees 600/-. He also
threatened to pay him more money. On this the complainant
transferred the money through Online mode. On the basis of the
complaint FIR u/s 309 (4)/311 BNS was registered. On the same
day accused was apprehended in FIR No. 236/2025 PS Timar Pur
and he had disclosed about his involvement in the present case.
The TIP of the accused was got conducted in which the
complainant identified the accused as the person who had
committed the crime. Notice was issued to Rapido Company
who informed that from mobile number 7691007748 one ride
was booked from Hazrat Nizamuddin to North Dheer Pur. The
mobile number 7691007748 is owned by the accused.
Complainant is yet to be examined. At this stage I do not find any
ground to enlarge the present applicant on bail. Application
stands dismissed. Copy of the order be given dasti.
