Submissions heard. The SHO PS concerned
appearing before the Court is not the SHO by whom the
chargesheet was filed and is not aware about the reasons for
delay in filing the final report. The law requires explanation of

the day to day delay and in the application general reasons are
given that IO was busy and there were problems at his house.
Even the application is not forwarded by the ACP by whom the
final report is forwarded. Before passing any order on the
application, I deem it appropriate to bring the fact in to the notice
of Ld.Commissioner of Police being the disciplinary authority to
take for information and take appropriate action and to move the
appropriate application duly forwarded by superior authorities.
Put up for report of the investigations on 21.02.2026.
