This is an application for release of original deposit slip in sum
of Rs. 15,000/- with State Bank of India, Pusa Road, Karol Bagh
Branch filed on behalf of surety Sh. Virender Singh Sajwan.
Present : Ms. Nimmi Sisodia, Ld. Substitute Addl. PP for the
State.
Applicant/surety Smt. Pooja in person.
Sh. Ashutosh Shukla, Ld. Counsel for applicant/
surety (through VC).
Ld. Counsel for surety Smt. Pooja submits that she
stood surety for accused Tilak Raj @ Molu and she had filed bail
bonds under Sec. 437A Cr.PC. He further submits that the
judgment in the present case was pronounced by this court on
23.11.2024 and the surety bonds were valid for a period of six
months only and the said period of six months has already
expired and hence she should be discharged as a Surety from the
present case and original deposit slip in sum of Rs. 15,000/- with
State Bank of India, Pusa Road, Karol Bagh Branch should be
released to the surety.
Ld. Substitute Addl PP for the State submits that she
has no objection if the surety is discharged in the present case
and no appeal has been filed in the present case.

I have heard the submission and perused the record.
As per the record, judgment in the present case was
pronounced by this court on 23.11.2024. The bail bonds filed by
the surety under Sec. 437A Cr.PC were valid only for a period of
six months. The period of six months of the validity of surety
bonds has already expired. No appeal has been filed in the
present case.
In view of the facts and circumstances, the present
application is hereby allowed.
Surety namely Smt. Pooja is hereby discharged from
the present case. Original deposit slip in sum of Rs. 15,000/- with
State Bank of India, Pusa Road, Karol Bagh Branch be released
to surety Smt. Pooja against acknowledgment after verifying her
identity.
The application is disposed off accordingly.
Copy of this order be given dasti to the surety.
