This is an application bearing I.A. No. 6/2026 dated
14.08.2026, seeking extension of interim bail filed on behalf of
the accused, namely, Javed Malik @ Jaidev @ Sunny @ Pouva.
Present : Ms. Garima Gupta, Ld. Substitute Addl. PP for the
State.
Mr. Lakshay, Ld. Counsel for the accused, namely,
Javed Malik @ Jaidev @ Sunny @ Pouva.
Ld. Counsel for accused submits that accused was
granted bail by Ld. Predecessor Judge
vide order dated
22.07.2026, however, he is not aware about the exact date when
accused was released from jail. Ld. Counsel submits that accused
was granted interim bail for a period of 15 days from the date of
his release and thus it is essential to ascertain from the Jail
Authorities about the same. Ld. Counsel submits that accused is
under severe medical distress and he is not able to tell the exact
date when the time period of 15 days may lapse.
In view of the aforesaid submissions, issue notice to
the concerned Jail Superintendent to apprise this Court about the
exact date when the accused was released from jail, pursuant to
order dated 22.07.2026, passed by Ld. Predecessor Judge of this
Court and to further apprise as to when the time period of 15
days shall lapse.
Ld. Counsel for accused submits that he has also
furnished medical documents of the accused on which, he seeks

to place reliance in furtherance of the present application, seeking
extension of interim bail.
Issue notice of the application to IO to verify the
medical documents, annexed along with the present application
and to file a report about the same before the Court on the next
date of hearing.
In the meanwhile, no coercive action be taken
against the applicant.
List the application, seeking extension of interim
bail for arguments/consideration on 24.08.2026.
A copy of this order be marked to the concerned Jail
Superintendent as well as the concerned IO for compliance.
