Order Details: COPY OF JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS
Pdf Text: CS DJ 686/24
Prakash Kaur Vs. Avtar Singh
28.04.2026
Present: Sh. Ankit Nagar, Ld proxy Counsel for Sh. Sumit
Gaba, Ld. counsel for the plaintiff.
Sh. Naval Kishore, Ld. Counsel for defendant
alongwith defendant.
At this stage, Ld. Counsel for the parties submit that
the matter could not be settled between them.
Perusal of the record reveals that the matter was at the
stage of remaining arguments on the application filed by the
plaintiff under Order XV-A CPC (Delhi Amendment), when on
the last date of hearing the matter was adjourned for exploring
the possibility of settlement between the parties. However, since
no settlement could ultimately be arrived at, the matter is taken
up today for remaining arguments on the said application.
At this stage, Ld. Proxy Counsel appearing on behalf of
the plaintiff seeks an adjournment on the ground that the main
counsel is unavailable due to personal exigency. The said request
for adjournment is not opposed by Ld. Counsel for the
defendant.
At this stage, Ld. Counsel for the defendant further
submits that another matter between the same parties is already
fixed for hearing on 25.05.2026 and requests that the present
matter may also be taken up on the said date for the sake of
convenience.

In view of the submissions made and the fact that the
request for adjournment is not opposed, let the present matter be
posted for remaining arguments on the application under Order
XV-A CPC (Delhi Amendment) on 25.05.2026.
