Present appeal is filed against the judgment dated 26/07/2018 and the order on sentence dated 09/05/2025 passed by Ld. ACJM-01, in FIR No.273/2001, PS Roop NagarU/s 279/337/338/304A IPC in case titled as ' State vs Paramjit', wherein appellant is convicted for the offence punishable U/s 304A/279/337/338 IPC and is sentenced to RI for one year for offence u/s 304A IPC and SI for one month each for offence punishable u/s 279/337/338 IPC and also to pay compensation of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rs. One lac Only) to the LRs of deceased and in default of payment of compensation to the LRs of deceased, the convict shall further undergo SI for a period of three months. IA No. 01/2025 An application for suspension of sentence including payment of compensation and grant of bail is filed alongwith the present appeal. Heard. Record perused. The impugned order of sentence dated 09/05/2025 stands suspended and appellant is admitted to bail on his furnishing -- 1 of 2 -- personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- to the satisfaction of the ld. Trial Court within one week. Application stands disposed of. CA No. 230/2025 Issue notice of the appeal to the respondent. Ld. Addl. PP for the State accepts notice. Put up on 17/09/2025.
