Present: Sh. Zafar Abbas and Sh. Himanshu Gupta, Ld. Counsels for petitioner.
Ld. Counsel for the petitioner has not brought the original signed record
of award dated 30.12.2024 for Court’s perusal.
Court is apprised that signed copy of award dated 30.12.2014 was
supplied to the petitioner/Govt. of NCT of Delhi on 01.01.2025.
Perusal of ordersheet reflects that it was received in this Court on
05.05.2025 i.e. after more than 5 months. Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that
this petition was e-filed on 29.03.2025 and after the objections were removed the
matter was assigned to this Court. Upon being asked to show the proof of claimed e-
filing of the petition on 29.03.2025, a web page of e-filing portal was shown on the
phone of Ld. Counsel for the petitioner. However, such web page did not pertain to
the matter in hand but rather pertain to some matter filed before the Court of Ld.
Senior Civil Judge. Even the ADL Number of the said file did not match with the
ADL number of the case in hand. Upon cross-checking the back end data it is found
that the petition in hand was e-filed on 02.04.2025 i.e. one day after expiry of three
months period. Objection is taken on the conduct of Ld. Counsel for the petitioner
for trying to mislead the Court by citing and relying on e-filed done before the Ld.
Senior Civil Judge.
Ld. Counsel for the petitioner seeks adjournment to address the Court
further on this aspect.
Put up for further proceedings on 24.05.2025.
Next date of hearing is given as per convenience of petitioner.
