Counsel for revisionist. None for the respondent. 1. This is the revision against the order dated 12/04/2024 whereby the complaint filed by the revisionist u/s 499/500 IPC came to be dismissed. 2. Ld. Counsel for the revisionist submits that the ld. Trial Court has dismissed the revision primarily on the ground that the documents i.e. the letter filed by the respondent in the office of revisionist was not proved in accordance with law, which contained the alleged defamatory statement. It is submitted by the counsel for the revisionist that one opportunity may be granted to revisionist to prove the documents issued / received by the office of the revisionist. 3. None has appeared for respondent. 4. By way of impugned order the ld. Trial Court noted that the letter sent by proposed accused which alleged to CR No. 136/2021 Meghna Gill vs Neetika & others Page No.1 of 2 -- 1 of 2 -- contain defamatory statement was not proved in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submissions made by the ld. Counsel for revisionist the order dated 12/04/2021 is set aside with the direction to revisionist to prove the alleged letter dated 19/10/2015, RTI reply 27/12/2017 and 05/01/2018 in accordance with law, subject to cost of Rs.3,000/- to be deposited in DSLSA, Central. 6. The ld. Trial Court is directed to give sufficient opportunity to prove the said documents. The complaint case be restored to its original number by the ld. Trial Court. 7. Revision petition stands allowed to that extent. The ld. Trial Court after taking the additional evidence shall pass the order. 8. Revision file be consigned to Record Room. Copy of this order be sent to ld. Trial Court for information. 9. Parties are directed to appear before ld. Trial Court 16/10/2025 at 2:00 PM.
