Present : Mr. Sumit Saurabh, ld counsel for plaintiff.
It is submitted that the Statement of Truth has been filed. Ld
counsel for plaintiff also submits that he has filed an application u/O.V
Rule 20 CPC praying that the defendants may be permitted to be served by
way of publication. It is further submitted that as per the report on the
process issued to the defendants, the defendants have either left the given
addresses or were not found at the addresses mentioned in the plaint. It is
stated that the plaintiff bank is unable to trace any fresh address of the
defendants and they may be permitted to be served by way of substituted
means. Considering the report on the process issued to the defendants and
in light of the submissions made, the application is allowed. The
defendants be served by way of publication in newspapers ‘Punjab Kesari’
& ‘Hindustan Times’. Appropriate steps be taken by the plaintiff within
two weeks.
Notice of publication be given dasti, as requested.
Adjourned to 20.02.2024 for Further Proceedings.
