Order Details: COPY OF ORDER Pdf Text: 18 CS DJ 160/23 MS. VEENU GUPTA Vs. MS. DIVYA GUPTA AND ANR. 30.03.2026 Pr.: Sh. Pankaj Singhal, Ld. Counsel for the plaintiff. Sh. Parveen Sharma and Sh. Mohit Jangra, Ld. Counsels for the defendant. Arguments heard on the application u/O. 6 Rule 17 CPC for seeking amendment in the WS moved on behalf of the defendant. It is submitted on behalf of the defendant that defendant wishes to furnish clarification with respect to the certain documents which were filed on behalf of the plaintiff specifically pursuant to the Order dated 07.11.2024 passed by the Ld. Predecessor of this Court. On the other hand, application is strongly opposed on behalf of the plaintiff on the ground that the documents which were filed by the plaintiff pursuant to Order dated 07.11.2024, were already in the knowledge of the defendant. Since the defendant has filed his WS on account of change in circumstances and only to give explanation with regard to the additional documents filed on record by the plaintiff, in the opinion of this Court, an opportunity has to be given to the defendant to clarify those documents. Accordingly, application u/O. 6 Rule 17 CPC for seeking amendment in the WS moved on behalf of the defendant stands allowed and amended WS already filed on behalf of the defendant is taken on record. -- 1 of 2 -- Ld. Counsel for the plaintiff seeks some time to file replication to the amended WS. Let the same be filed on or before next date of hearing with advance copy to the opposite party. Subsequent thereto, both the parties are directed to file their respective affidavits of admission-denial of documents and exchange the copies with each other. Put up for completion of pleadings, admission-denial of documents and framing of issues on 24.04.2026. (PANKAJ ARORA) District Judge-16, Central Distt., Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi, 30.03.2026 -- 2 of 2 --
