At this stage, a reply is filed on behalf of the MCD.
Copy supplied. Same is taken on record. As per reply, the interest
accrued on the principal amount as per directions of the Ld. Labour
Court is shown as Rs.59,635/-.
To this, Ld. Proxy counsel seeks some time to go
through the reply and to take appropriate instructions from the decree
holder.
In view of the same, let the matter be adjourned for
14.01.2026.
MCD is further directed to furnish a detailed report
regarding the computation of interest. The report shall clearly
indicate the specific date(s) from which the interest has been
calculated and the reason for taking the same as the starting point, the
principal amount upon which such interest has been computed, the
rate of interest applied, and the basis or justification for calculating
the said amount of interest.
The report shall be filed positively before the next date
of hearing.
